Singing in Jackson, NH! Thursday, April 28

Here are our dear friends, John del Re and Kelly Macklin, (of Clarke County, Virginia) singing Providence, which is page 298 in the Sacred Harp.
Remember that, folks who were at our last third Saturday singing in Berlin?
We struggled with it and gave it up for the night. Sad, because I've been singing this song for years and probably should have been able to teach it to you all. Oh, well. We all have our off days. :)
Lets hope this coming Thursday is NOT an off day!
We're looking forward to trying out the Whitney Community Center in Jackson, New Hampshire on Thursday, April 28th. That's this coming Thursday! Wee!!
Please come along and bring your friends. Since this is a new space in a new community, we'll plan to take some time in the first half to go over the shapes and discuss the tradition and answer any and all questions folks may have.

Third Saturday Singing, Coming Up!
Hi folks!
We were so bummed out that we were BOTH sick for last month's singing. Ugh. That was the worst.
But that means we're even more excited to sing with you all this coming Saturday!
Wee!!
There are a couple of other singings that I want to remind you all of, too.
There is a weekly singing in Concord, NH every Monday evening AND there is a weekly singing in Portland, ME every Tuesday.
You can't fool me. I know plenty of you take regular trips to Concord and Portland (to catch a show, to go to Whole Foods, what-have-you). Plan your trip around a singing and meet some new, fabulous folks!

Next Singing in Berlin: February 20th!
We had such a great time at the Tamworth Traditional Arts Fest on January 30th! Really enthusiastic, spirited singers. Wonderful room. It was absolutely delightful.
Hope we can rally some folks to join us for a North Conway area singing soon (any ideas for a good space in the area? Something like the Town House in Tamworth would be ideal, and especially if it was free or very affordable. Please let us know if you have good ideas!)
In the meantime, our next Berlin singing is on Saturday, February 20th!

Singing in Tamworth! Saturday!
Hi Folks! We have been invited to help lead a Shapenote Singing at the Tamworth Traditional Arts Fest this Saturday. Chris and I hope you will join us! Singing will be from 9am til 11 and then there will be a community dance after that from 12 to 2. And what's more? Tamworth Farmers Market all morning long in the space downstairs! This is a good chance for folks who haven't tried singing before because we will give a little introduction and instruction, and hopefully we'll have a group of pretty strong singers, too! See you on Saturday!
